We deserve to be celebrated for showing up as our authentic selves. As Black women others have attempted to tell us what’s acceptable even down to how we wear our hair.
One of the reasons I am building a media platform to highlight Black women is because I know how being in a safe space feels where we are encouraged to show up in excellence.
